The patented Mammut sole concept with customized support and cushioning to support natural foot roll, and thus prevent fatigue (danger of twisting).
This aim of this type of construction is to create the shaft of a shoe using a material with as few seams as possible. This provides greater robustness, thanks to the lower number of contact surfaces and reduced overall weight.
The stretchable GORE-TEX tongue construction eliminates annoying creases, while the wide opening makes the shoes much easier to put on and take off.
100% guaranteed waterproof thanks to premium quality high-fitting, sealed, insert socks made of PTFC (PolyTetraFluorCarbone). The Extended version offers excellent breathability with low warming ability.
An amazingly light, pleasantly soft midsole material fashioned from compression-moulded EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) with excellent damping properties.
Constructed from a blend of supple inner and tough outer materials, which means the boot is hard only where necessary and can be designed to fit the foot for enhanced comfort.
Zones featuring Liquid Rubber reinforcements safeguard the footwear against abrasion and damage. This rubber is applied when wet and is lighter than conventional rubber rands.
These multifunction Hiking soles are the result of the many years of footwear experience of the Mammut Footwear Design and Development team. The gripex rubber mix offers optimal adherence and lasting abrasion resistance. Additional functional features include mid-height, multidirectional lugs, flexible ribs and the patented Mammut Rolling technology.
