The Bergen 30 backpack by Fjällräven is named after the Norwegian city of Bergen - because its raining frequently there. In order to protect you from rain and wetness Fjällräven came up with something special. There is an integrated stuff sack on the inside. Its waterproof and includes a padded compartment for laptops up to 15. Stuff sack and backpack are connected to each other via hook and loop fastener on the roller closure. This creates a large opening and you get a great overview over the backpacks content. The roller closure makes sure the stuff sack is absolutely waterproof. If waterproofing is not required you can easily remove the stuff sack.
On the outside of the backpack there are numerous compartments and pockets. The sides provide two compartments made of stretch material for items such as water bottles. On the front there is a large stretch compartment for items such as gloves or your maps and compass. On the hip fins there are two zip pockets for items such as energy bars or sun screen. Trekking poles can fit as well as there are mountings for them on the outside front. The Bergen 30 Daypack by Fjällräven is a well-thought out and versatile backpack for everyday use or day touring!
